Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging compliance
- Optimize routes to meet delivery schedules and fuel efficiency
- Maintain clean, professional appearance of vehicle and cargo
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all FMCSA and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (2008 or newer, under 26,000 lbs GVWR)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Smartphone with reliable data connection for dispatch apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Pass background and drug screening
