Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes using provided digital dispatch systems
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and customer communications
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Maximize earnings through strategic backhaul coordination
- Uphold professional customer service standards at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Reliable 26-foot box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- DOT medical certification and current registration
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch apps
