Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of goods using your own box truck within the Scottsdale metropolitan area
- Route optimization using our digital dispatch platform for maximum efficiency
- Maintaining accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and expense documentation
- Performing daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure DOT compliance
- Communicating proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and any issues
- Managing loading/unloading operations at client locations with proper equipment handling
- Adhering to all federal/state transportation regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance with $1M liability coverage
- Relatively new box truck (model year 2015 or newer) in good mechanical condition
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation and basic logistics software
- Strong time management skills with ability to work independently
- Availability for flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends as needed
