Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight using your owned box truck
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Build strong relationships with warehouse teams and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage fuel receipts and expense documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable owned box truck (24-26ft preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Bakersfield and Central Valley routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Smartphone with reliable data connectivity
