Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading of freight with proper documentation
- Maintain vehicle compliance (DOT inspections, maintenance logs)
- Optimize routes for timely delivery and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Submit accurate delivery reports and mileage logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good condition
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
