Responsibilities
- Operate your box truck for regional freight deliveries within Greensboro and surrounding areas
- Coordinate with dispatch team via remote digital platforms for optimal load scheduling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and mileage tracking through mobile app
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure FMCSA compliance
- Manage customer relations during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation systems for timely deliveries
- Submit weekly invoices and expense reports through our secure portal
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) with current DOT inspection
- Basic computer skills for remote administrative tasks
- Own commercial auto liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Strong time management and independent work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Greensboro, NC residency required
