Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for on-time deliveries throughout San Diego County
- Optimize routing using our GPS dispatch system to maximize daily mileage
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Coordinate with clients and dispatch teams to resolve delivery exceptions
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Utilize our fuel card network for cost-effective refueling
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate lift gates safely
- Own or lease compliant box truck (26ft max, 2020+ preferred)
- Proficient with smartphone apps for logistics coordination
- Strong knowledge of San Diego/Imperial County roadways
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
