Responsibilities
- Transport freight within Tennessee and surrounding states using your owned box truck
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure compliance with all DOT and local regulations
- Represent Nashville Freight Solutions professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable box truck (26ft+ preferred) in good mechanical condition
- Smartphone with GPS and data capability
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
