Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28 ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Reliable personal vehicle for equipment access
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
