Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28 ft) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with dispatch regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years box truck experience
- Own DOT-compliant box truck (26-28 ft)
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M)
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Smartphone with GPS capabilities
- Strong time management skills
