Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided software
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and cargo security during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Own or lease late-model box truck (26ft-32ft)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
