Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box trucks for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using provided dispatch software for on-time deliveries
- Provide professional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and hours of service regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of cargo liability insurance ($100k minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for dispatch app
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
