Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within the Pacific Northwest
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance adherence
- Coordinate with dispatch team via remote communication apps for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage fuel expenses through reimbursement program
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Relatively owned box truck (26' max) meeting DOT specifications
- Smartphone with reliable data for remote dispatch communication
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Basic accounting skills for independent contractor invoicing
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
