Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in Madison and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our digital platform
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with proper insurance coverage
- Strong knowledge of Madison area and Wisconsin roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch apps
- Entrepreneurial mindset with self-motivation skills
- DOT medical certification current and up-to-date
