Responsibilities
- Execute local and regional box truck deliveries with 98% on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Operate in compliance with DOT regulations and California traffic laws
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Safely handle various cargo types including electronics and consumer goods
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Reliable 26ft box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
