Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in the Central Valley
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Manage load securement and cargo handling protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer, 22-26ft preferred)
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Drug-free certification and DOT compliance
