Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries and freight transportation
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking
- Optimize route efficiency to meet tight delivery windows
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time schedule adjustments
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Build client relationships through professional on-site interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+ coverage)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
