Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries in Virginia Beach area
- Manage route planning and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and priority deliveries
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional service
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Must own or have reliable access to a box truck
