Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for local/regional deliveries in Pittsburgh metro
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and professionalism
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Complete electronic logging and required documentation accurately
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable box truck (26+ ft) with current registration and insurance
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Pittsburgh metro area residency required
