Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely on regional routes within Western NY
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain vehicle logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Manage inventory and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Own or willing to acquire box truck (12-26ft)
