Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Denver metropolitan area
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional service and on-time performance
- Manage all aspects of cargo handling, loading/unloading, and securement
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years verifiable box truck ownership experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and regional highways
- Basic accounting skills for independent contractor responsibilities
- Must own DOT-compliant box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
