Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional deliveries in Baltimore metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests via our mobile app
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and time management
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse freight (no hazmat)
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years commercial experience)
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Smartphone with reliable internet for mobile app operations
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for minor repairs
