Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Minneapolis metro and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time pickups/deliveries
- Ensure freight security through proper loading/unloading and securement protocols
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Manage fuel expenses and submit weekly settlements for payment processing
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred) with clean MVR for past 3 years
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (2010+ model) meeting DOT specifications
- Current commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication capabilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
