Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) within Pittsburgh metro and tri-state area
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure on-time delivery of temperature-sensitive freight
- Manage customer communication and delivery confirmations
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Own/lease insured box truck (24-26ft)
- DOT medical certification current
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Pittsburgh-area traffic patterns
- Strong time management and customer service skills
