Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading operations and cargo documentation
- Maintain vehicle compliance with DOT regulations and maintenance schedules
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Build client relationships through professional communication
- Submit daily logs and trip documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Own DOT-compliant box truck (26' minimum)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices
