Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck (24-26 ft) for local and regional deliveries within Wisconsin and surrounding states
- Safely load/unload freight using provided equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for schedule adjustments and special requests
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Wisconsin)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Smartphone with reliable data for GPS and communication
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance (minimum $1M liability)
