Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for regional freight deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients at delivery points
- Maximize utilization through proactive communication
- Maintain accurate logs and compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable box truck (26-28ft) with current registration and insurance
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Smartphone with reliable data connection
- Resident of DFW metro area for local access
