Responsibilities
- Safely operate 24-26ft box trucks for regional freight delivery
- Manage efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maximize operational efficiency through strategic load planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Reliable transportation to/from dispatch hub
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
