Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your own box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Complete accurate documentation (BOLs, delivery confirmations)
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery point
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedule changes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Identify opportunities for route optimization and cost savings
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable, DOT-compliant box truck (24-26ft preferred)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area
- Basic navigation and route planning skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
