Responsibilities
- Operate your box truck to safely deliver and pick up freight within Ohio and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and scheduling
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling during transit
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable late-model box truck (2005 or newer, under 200k miles)
- Smartphone with data plan for communication and tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
