Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck while delivering freight to commercial and residential locations
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and maximize mileage earnings
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain daily logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize load assignments and turnaround times
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' or smaller) with current registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Smartphone with reliable internet access for communication and route navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
