Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries in Boston metro area
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and delivery timelines
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Optimize routes using provided dispatch system for maximum efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Submit accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in good condition
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Boston metro area residency required
