Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to commercial clients
- Uphold strict safety standards and DOT compliance
- Manage customer service interactions at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must own or lease your own box truck
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
