Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely pickups/deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Ensure secure cargo handling and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes to maximize fuel efficiency and earnings
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Box truck or straight truck experience required
- DOT medical certification and up-to-date licensing
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable GPS navigation and smartphone
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Minimum 1 year owner operator experience
