Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26ft) for local/regional deliveries within NY/NJ/Pennsylvania
- Maintain clean driving record and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Submit digital delivery documentation and mileage reports
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Reliable 26ft box truck in good condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable internet access
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and customer service skills
