Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using our mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Build positive client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo during transit
- Report mechanical issues promptly and coordinate maintenance through our vendor network
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer) with valid registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Smartphone proficiency for our dispatch and tracking apps
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
