Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight deliveries
- Maintain DOT compliance and vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Utilize electronic logging systems for hours tracking
- Manage cargo securing and inventory verification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- DOT physical examination clearance
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Alaska residency required
