Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local/regional freight deliveries
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and DOT inspections
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Optimize routes using provided GPS dispatch system
- Submit accurate daily logs and delivery documentation
- Build relationships with warehouse staff and clients
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26' or under) in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Smartphone with reliable data connectivity
