Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight throughout California and surrounding states
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and FMCSA requirements
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and fuel economy
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Utilize our advanced dispatch system for real-time load tracking
- Submit accurate delivery reports and paperwork within 24 hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Own or lease a DOT-compliant box truck (26' or larger)
- Proven experience in freight transportation and route planning
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Must have current DOT medical certification
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity required
