Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for local/regional freight delivery with 100% on-time performance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and load planning
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper paperwork completion
- Uphold DOT compliance and safety standards at all times
- Manage client communication for delivery confirmations and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proven on-time delivery track record
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) with current commercial insurance
- Strong knowledge of Greensboro and surrounding regional routes
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Basic load securing and cargo handling proficiency
