Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in the Plano metroplex
- Maintain clean, DOT-compliant vehicles and handle minor maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and schedule adherence
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and customer service interactions
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Submit timely maintenance reports and expense documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in excellent mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of Plano/Dallas-Fort Worth area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation
- Exceptional time management and customer service abilities
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
