Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading of cargo with proper handling protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided GPS tools
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (24ft+)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic knowledge of freight handling procedures
- Smartphone with data connectivity for app-based dispatch
