Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within California
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Build relationships with warehouse clients in the Bay Area
- Manage delivery timelines and customer expectations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license (CDL not required)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic smartphone navigation skills (training provided)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- No experience necessary - comprehensive training provided
- Reliable transportation to our Oakland terminal
- Must possess own DOT-compliant box truck
