Responsibilities
- Operate your own box truck for local and regional deliveries in Madison, WI
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while maintaining safety standards
- Manage all paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance on your vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency and fuel economy
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of box truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good mechanical condition
- Basic knowledge of Madison area and surrounding regions
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
