Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28 ft) for local and regional routes within Missouri and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and required documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Manage freight handling to ensure damage-free deliveries
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and timely arrivals
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M, cargo $100K)
- Reliable personal vehicle for intermodal transfers
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability for early morning/evening shifts
