Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight using personal box truck
- Route optimization for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for load assignments and schedule adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven ability to manage independent operations
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft preferred)
