Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for time-sensitive local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal routing and on-time pickups/deliveries
- Perform preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse freight types
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck/straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M+)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2008+ model preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
