Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport various materials, including gravel, sand, and demolition debris.
- Load and unload materials at construction sites and job locations efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery records as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in dump truck operation.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
