Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated Virginia Beach routes
- Optimize daily delivery routes using provided technology to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery records through scanning applications and document handling exceptions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere to all Amazon safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies
- Collaborate with delivery associates and management team to ensure operational excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with mobile technology and route navigation apps
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
