Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and transport packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Load/unload packages efficiently using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and vehicle mileage logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to Amazon's safety protocols and delivery time standards
- Communicate delivery exceptions and delays to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and tracking
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Background check and drug test required
